Does the machine drain upwards?

The T01 does not drain upwards. Please make sure that the drain hose lies flat on the floor and no part of the drain hose is more than 4 inches / 10 cm above the floor.

How does the HAVA T01 drain water?

The T01 Portable Washing Machine is not designed for upward drainage. To drain water, simply connect the included drain hose to direct water into a floor drain or a similar outlet. Ensure that the water inlet pipe is flat on the floor and that no part of the drain hose is elevated more than 4 inches (10 cm) above the ground.

What is the type of connector on the water supply hose?

It is a 1/2" garden hose connector, and you may need an adapter to connect it to your faucet.

Do I have to turn off the water faucet when the washing machine is not in use?

You don't have to, as the machine comes with an inlet valve that keeps the water in and out. But it is recommended to turn off the faucet after use.

How long are the water supply hose and the drain hose?

Both of the water supply and drain hoses are 47 in / 120 cm long.

Does the T01 washing machine warm up the water during a wash?

No, all wash programs use cold water only, and hot water cannot be manually added during any program.

Can I wash clothes with hot water by hooking the machine to a hot water faucet?

Sorry, the machine operates only with cold water. Please avoid adding water hotter than 50 °C / 122 °F.

Do you have some recommended types of detergent?

The machine is compatible with all types of detergent. You can choose either liquid detergent, powder detergent or gel balls.

How much water is consumed per washing cycle?

Each wash program comes with a default water level setting, but you may manually select your desired water level before starting the wash. The water consumptions of the 4 water levels are:

L1: 10.6 L / 2.8 US gallons
L2: 13.6 L / 3.6 US gallons
L3: 15.2 L / 4 US gallons
L4: 18.2 L / 4.8 US gallons

Can the T01 washing machine fully dry my laundry?

While the T01 efficiently spins to remove most of the water at the end of its wash cycles, clothes may remain slightly damp. Simply hang them up for a bit to achieve full dryness.

How often do I need to clean this washing machine? And do I have to use specialized material to clean it?

We recommend a thorough cleaning of the machine every 3 to 5 months with specialized washing machine agents.

I have used this washer for several days and it's been great so far. I love that it's a top loading washer. You do however have to hook it up, and for us we hook it up to our shower hose so it's super simple. It will only rinse with cold water, but this does not effect the washer's efficiency. The spin cycle does get it mostly dry but for us, after a week of trying to hang dry we decided to purchase a dryer. So far this washer has been great!

Excelente!! This washer is good for daily clothes washing. I bought this machine for its spinning function. Some of my sweaters required hand washing. My big washing machine doesn't have a only spinning function. After I wash my sweaters, I have no way to squeeze all the water out. After I hang them up, water is dripping, and it takes forever to dry. This machine solves my problem. It only takes max 8 minutes to finish the spinning process. The water doesn't drip everywhere anymore. I plan to take this small machine with me whenever I accept any travel assignment contracts. It is so compact and so light; it doesn't occupy much space but does the big thing.

I suggest using a wire mesh strainer over your sink drain to catch the lint, quite a lot of large lint pieces come out of the drain hose and could clog pipes.

For the price this is a fantastic buy. While I'll still have to make the trip to the Laundromat for certain things, this machine does a great job for small loads. Typically I can wash a whole outfit, and spin out the items separately. You have to be careful to balance the items in the spin basket so it won't shake, but if you do it works pretty well. Clothes are a bit more damp than a normal machine after spin, but good enough to hang dry.
